La Casa des Achards is located in the Trièves, a mid-mountain region in southern Isère, at the junction of the northern and southern Alps and halfway between Gap and Grenoble. The house is a former 18th-century farmhouse nestling at the foot of the Obiou, in a small hamlet 920 metres above sea level.
It lies at the gateway to Dévoluy, Matheysine and Valbonnais, Champsaur-Valgaudemar (Ecrins National Park), and not far from Vercors (Vercors Regional Nature Park).
A variety of activities animate La Casa des Achards :
• Tourist reception all year round, in a gîte or guest rooms (bed and breakfast), where you can rest and relax by taking part in outdoor activities as a couple, a group or a family (hiking, horse-riding, cycling)
• Regular yoga and meditation activities (courses, workshops, stages)
• Animations and events around garden and aromatic and medicinal plants
• Host place for courses, seminars, and themed weekends
La Casa des Achards welcome you to stay in a gîte or in guest rooms (bed and breakfast) in a house built in 1789 and carefully restored in 2021 (label of the Fondation du Patrimoine). Located halfway between Gap and Grenoble, in a mountain hamlet at 920 meters of altitude, at the foot of the Dévoluy and close to the Vercors. You will enjoy a place where you can rest and relax and discover the beauty of the mountains and the charm of a preserved natural environment.
The lodging can accommodate from 4 to 8 people. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and three independent bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Several hiking trails are directly accessible by foot from the house (the Obiou‘s national forest and the tour of Obiou, the Bachilianne alpin pasture).
